SquareSpace Installation ​

Follow these steps to install the eContractor plugin on your SquareSpace site.

Create the 'Shop' page ​

  1. From the main menu of your website, select Website -> Pages.
  2. Under the Main Navigation section, select '+' to create a new page.
  3. Choose the Blank Page option.
  4. Name the page anything you'd like - common options include:
  • Shop
  • Buy Filters
  • Order Filters

Add the Script to your New Page ​

  1. While hovering the new page under your Main Navigation, find and select the Settings Icon (gear) to open up the Page Settings menu.

  1. From the Page Settings menu, navigate to the Advanced tab.
  2. In the Page Header Code Injection text area, paste in the following script.

  1. After pasting in the script, be sure to click Save in the top-left of the menu.

WARNING

⚠️ Unlike other platforms, SquareSpace requires this script to go in the Head section to ensure proper loading.

Insert the Plugin Element ​

  1. Edit the newly created page.
  2. Select Add Section, then choose a Blank Section.
  3. Within the section, click Add Block and select Code.
  4. Double click inside the code block to open the menu & paste the following code inside the code block:

TIP

💡 You can adjust the Code Block to fit the page to your liking.

  1. Click Save in the top-left the page.

Final Step: Deploy Your Changes ​

Once everything is in place, you will see an alert titled Your Almost There!

Make sure to publish or update the page so that its live and publicly accessible.

WARNING

⚠️ Please ensure the page is Live before selecting the Let Us Know button, as our team will need to be able to access the page.

Once deployed, go ahead and click on the Let Us Know button. Our team will then get your store live as soon as possible!

TIP

🚀 Once installed and deployed, you’re ready to start driving traffic to your shop page and begin selling!
